Protestation by the elders of Przemyśl against the Crown elders

The elders of Przemyśl: Lejzor Zysklewicz, Major Markowicz, Dawid Aronowicz, Szmul Lejzorowicz and other Przemyśl elders protest against the Crown elders: Abram Chaimowiczowi, Berek Rabinowicz from Brody, Icek from Opoczno and other trustees of the Crown Jews, who, ignoring the bad situation of the Przemyśl synagogue, increased the tax paid by Jews from Przemyśl from 1200 to 2874 złp, as their share in the prepared distribution (tariffs) of the poll tax. Orders of payment were issued for [Franciszek] Rzewuski, a crown writer, against which they protest and announce they will file a lawsuit to the tax tribunal in Radom.
